Spruced up shed trailer
During 2018-2019 Christmas shutdown shed members took the opportunity to give the faithful shed trailer a coat of paint. The trailer now looks ready for action during 2019.
Visit by the NSW Premier to the shed
In early 2019 The Entrance Men’s Shed was visited by The NSW Premier, The Honourable Gladys Berejiklian and Liberal Party candidate for The Entrance, Brian Perrem. Shed members were delighted to show the Premier around the shed facilities and to explain the community projects members work towards.

During late 2018 shed member Keith crafted this beautiful wooden model of an MG-A car from complementary types of timber.

Christmas lunch 2018
In December 2018, members and their partners enjoyed a relaxing shed Christmas Lunch at the Bateau Bay Bowling Club.
Grant McBride memory walk
On the 8th of September 2018 shed members hosted a sausage sizzle for the Grant McBride Memory Walk. Money raised is used by Dementia Australia for research and advocacy into dementia. The walk was instigated by Federal Member for Dobell, Emma McBride, in honour of her late father Grant McBride.
Get together after the 2018 AGM
After the 2018 AGM (held in July 2018), shed members enjoyed a quiet drink and meal at the Long Jetty Hotel.

Postman’s cruise on the Hawkesbury River

Sydney Harbour cruise
On the 29th of November 2013 shed members and their partners spent an enjoyable day traveling to Sydney by train, followed by a two-hour Sydney Harbour cruise aboard the Captain Cook Sydney 2000. Both Sydney Transport and the cruise ship staff were very accommodating and this helped to ensure that everybody had a great day.Continue reading “Sydney Harbour cruise”
Bin hoppers for The Entrance
Shed members Bruce and Rob have created a set of seven timber bin hoppers for The Entrance Town Centre Management. The hoppers are being placed at Memorial Park and The Boardwalk alongside the The Entrance channel.

Destash market day
Shed members recently participated in the Destash Market Day held at the Entrance Community Centre. The shed provided a sausage sizzle for market goers as well as a small garage sale of handmade wooden objects.
Halloween bike display
Shed members recently worked on a ghoulish Halloween-themed display for a bike to be displayed at Chromefest. Chromefest is held annually at Memorial Park at The Entrance.
