On the 30th of April 2021 ten shed members enjoyed a trip to the National Maritime Museum on Sydney Harbour. Members had a thoroughly enjoyable day exploring the historic ships and the many other fascinating exhibits at the museum

Christmas Lunch 2020
Shed Members undertook a shed cleanup on the morning of the 23rd December 2020. After cleanup members enjoyed a BBQ lunch and a few light beers to finish off the (challenging) 2020 calendar year. Best wishes for all for a happy and healthy 2021 from all of us at the Entrance Men’s Shed!
Volkswagen pedal car
We had a request to fit bumper bars and manufacture a steering wheel for this Volkswagen pedal car. A Christmas present for a lucky local three year old.
2020 Christmas raffle
Shed member Jim Ryan very kindly donated a large toolkit to the shed, which was raffled off during December to raise funds for shed operations.
Large chairs for Central Coast Council

Ken’s motorbike model
Shed member Ken recently completed this beautifully detailed and presented wooden motorbike model.
Rocking horse passed down through the generations
The Entrance Men’s Shed members recently completed refurbishment of a vintage rocking horse for a local family. The rocking horse was originally owned and used by the family Grandmother, who passed it onto her daughter. Pencil archway for local daycare centre
Shed members recently constructed and installed a large pencil-themed archway for a local daycare centre. The arch helps to reward and encourage reading at the Center. The larger-than-life pencils are quite realistic in person!
Bob’s garden barrels
Shed member Bob recently completed refurbishing and painting of a stylish half-wine barrels, for installation in his garden.
RSL museum picture installation
As part of the building and installation of a viewing platform at the Long Jetty RSL Sub-branch museum, shed members also installed a series of large photos into the room. The pictures complement and inform the display.
RSL museum viewing platform
The Entrance Men’s Shed members worked together recently to build and install a viewing platform for the Bofors room at the RSL museum located in the Long Jetty RSL sub-branch. The sturdy platform provides an ideal viewing point for the room’s displays–which we encourage everyone to visit when they get the chance.

National Men’s Shed Week
With the recent celebrations of National Men’s Shed Week, shed members were excited to be featured in an article in the Central Coast Community Chronicle newspaper.

After many hours of precision woodworking, shed member Keith has completed this impressive model dump truck.
Garden benches restoration
Shed members recently completed the full restoration of two iron and timber garden benches. The metal brackets were stripped back to bare metal and given new coast of paint.
