Dads Day Out, Wyong will be held at Colongara Bay Park on 20 June 2010, starting at 11am. The Dad’s Day Out organising committee are keen to have interactive events for dads and kids.
Bunnings have generously donated hammers for the event so the local Men’s Sheds have set about finding an activity that uses the hammers and allows dads and their children to interact.
The Entrance Men’s Shed took on the task of making 100 tissue box kits for this event. In recent days shed members have cut sides to match the box tops that were cut and routed earlier in the week.
The Benevolent Society has kindly covered the costs for the tissue box materials.
