The Cafe at The Entrance Community Centre opened today, serving its first cup of coffee to customers.
The Cafe is a community venture with students providing the labor (under supervision) to operate the facility. They are currently learning hospitality training with Breakthru: People Solutions. Breakthru operates training courses at The Entrance Community Centre.
The cafe will be open from Monday to Thursday, starting after ANZAC Day. There will be cafe beverages, some cakes and some light meals for lunch.
Shed members are pleased to report there was quite a crowd today–including the parents of fairy dancers and a bus tour for new residents.
