In March 2020 The Entrance Men’s Shed was approached by Toowoon Bay SLSC to restore their vintage surf life saving reel (an Australian innovation in surf life saving used at beaches all around the country for many years).
Shed members worked together to carefully restore the reel to it’s original condition, allowing it to resume pride of place at the surf club.
